Sys Numeric Query Based DEs not updating when trigger DE is Reverse Auto-Populate?

Hello, essentially query based data elements are not triggering as they should when a trigger element is updated via reverse auto-populate.

We are attempting to update a Company level BP from Project level BPs through a RAP onto a trigger element. However, the trigger element does not actually trigger an update for the query elements.

Has this happened to anyone else? I can provide a short zoom video link of our dev environment with a demo

Our environment is on version 23.8
