Make a format for Desciptive flexifiel filed

Hello.

We created a Descriptive Flexfield to put an AFE Number in this field.

However we need that the Value of the AFE Number will follow a special format : The first Caracters are Letters and the last letters are Number and will be seperated by (-)

Example: XXX-WOD-1203-23

How we can define a specific format of entering
