How does the Oracle Linux BaseOS Latest repository get updated?

Hello

We use Oracle Linux 8.8 and It is mandatory for us to get the latest RPM updates to avoid issues with vulnerabilities. We use the following repositories for updates

Oracle Linux 8.8 (x86_64) BaseOS https://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL8/8/baseos/base/x86_64/index.html

Oracle Linux 8 (x86_64) AppStream https://yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL8/appstream/x86_64/index.html

At the moment of releasing OL8.8, we didn't have any issues with RPM package installation. However, currently, the Oracle Linux AppStream repository can't resolve all of its dependencies from the Oracle Linux BaseOS 8.8 repository. Still, it can be resolved if we enable Oracle Linux BaseOS Latest (which we had disabled beforehand). Here, we would like to seek clarification about this repository.

Howdy, Stranger!
