Monitoring Template Questions

Hi All,

We are using OEM 13.4. We'd like configure some basic monitoring for a small group of hosts and database instances. Databases are Oracle 19c, hosts are Linux/RedHat 7 & 8 VM's.

My questions are regarding the monitoring templates - As I understand it, we'll need to create some monitoring templates to choose the metrics we are interested in collecting and/or receiving notifications from. Then, apply to our interested targets.

1) Do I need to create a "default" template for backup purposes? In other words, once we apply the template how would we revert it back (i.e. get the defaults back if needed)?
