Is is possible to set up a parent holding party as a child of another parent holding party?

Party A is set up as a parent holding company with several accounts underneath it. Party B is also set up as a parent holding company with several accounts underneath it. We want to set up Party B as a child of Party A and still see the accounts under each separate party.

I need to figure out what relationship role to use to accomplish this hiearchy. I set up Party B as a subsidiary of Party A, but then all the accounts of Party B became child accounts of Party A.

We are on EBS version R12.2.9.
