How to change Work Request status in R12.2.9

Hi team,

Greetings!

We can change WR status (for specific business reasons) as per the document How to change Work Request status (Doc ID 763745.1). This document | fix is applicable for R12.1.3. Is there any document | fix available for R12.2.9 as well?

FYI: our business users want to close all very-old work requests. We are on R12.2.9
