Why does the S&D app (p4021) shows RS document types instead of WP for planned dependant demand?

The Supply and Demand app (P4021) is showing RS document type instead of WP document type when a purchased item has dependant demand. There is only level in the BOM structure and the FG is a Rate Schedule Item. Thanks.
