Is it possible to extend root partition in ODA 19.19?

I have an oda X8S and my root partition always has insufficient space e.g. to load oda patches. Is it possible to extend root partition in ODA 19.19? Or generate a new partition to divide the space elsewhere and gain more space for rooting.
