DirectNFS and nconnect

Oracle database 19c (RU18) Standard Edition

Hello,

I would like to know if there are some known issues when using nconnect mount option in regard to DirectNFS ?

Customer reported increase of runtime of queries (needing disk I/O) when enabling DirectNFS, so DirectNFS was disabled again and customer reported runtimes decreased again to expected level.

nconnect=6 is the only mount option that is different to other databases at the same customer where DirectNFS is activated and no negative impact has been detected until weeks.
