Challenge...we are a discrete mfg org and for several reasons we have several product lines that have fallen 2 to 12 weeks behind schedule. Most of our product is configured to order so we create discrete jobs that are linked to sales order lines. Obviously, the demand for components come from the start dates of those linked orders. We do not want to push out Scheduled Ship Dates to reflect a more accurate date to the customer. (We actually provide them with a Promise Date and that is a different discussion I guess).
