Moving employees on a payroll calendar to a different one

in Payroll and OTL - EBS (MOSC) Question

We are using Oracle EBS Payroll and we have a biweekly payroll. We want to shift our biweekly payroll forward by 1 week.

For example, if the pay period original was 24-Dec-2023 - 06-Jan-2024, we would like to shift it forward a week to 31-Dec-2023 - 13-Jan-2024.

As a result of this switch, we propose processing 1 week in the old payroll from 24-Dec-2023 - 30-Dec-2023 and then processing on the new calendar going forward.

If you've done this change before, can you share how you did it? What considerations and steps did you take into account when doing this?
