Net amount in Inventory asset valuation amount does not match with the current onhand amount.

When we are comparing the net YTD amount in Inventory valuation account it is not matching with the current on hand amount in the asset subinventories.

We are using average costing method.

What could be the possible issues these two figures are not matching?
