Having trouble getting my report to show font in italics

Report Builder 12.2.1.4.0

ORACLE Server Release 12.1.0.2.0

Hi I changed the font in my oracle rdf file to arial with a style of italics it shows italics in the report builder but not when the report is built under unix. My suspicion is unix is missing a font but I can not find enough details to explore this.

I hope this is the correct discussion.
