Database Patch 19.21 on Linux patch nr 35643107, taking very long prerequisite checks

in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) 6 comments

Hello,

While applying patch 19.21, in-place in a single-instance database home (19.20), the prerequisites take extremely long. This can take up to 7 mins.

It does finish, with the 'Do you want to proceed?' as usual. When checking the opatch log, the main time seems to be in the phase:
