Migrate Oracle EBS 12.2 to ODA DB system

in Technology Stack - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi,

I would like to migrate EBS 12.2 database hosted on a VM (vmware) to ODA DB system, as per Oracle documentation we must use "Using Transportable Tablespaces to Migrate Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 Using Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition On a Multitenant Environment" procedure to migrate existing Oracle E-Business Suite databases to Oracle Database Appliance DB System. My questions are :

Why should i use XTTS procedure since i have a same endian format and the same OS versions (Oracle linux 7) ?

Can i use rapid clone method for the migration?

also in the mentioned document, there is the step where we should create a new database in the target system and since DB system has already an installed database, what should we do in this case, use the existing one or create a new one?
