eProcurement - Item Favorites when Item has been discontinued or inactivated

Does anyone know if there is a way, systematically, to update requestor favorites when an item has been made either unavailable or inactive? I've written an SQL to manually remove items from requester favorites, however, I'm reluctant to do so on a "mass" scale. (by "mass" I mean 4,400 items over 1,200 requesters).


Would it be helpful to request an addition to the INS4000 process so that items are removed from requester favorites once an item has been inactivated?
