HFM Journal approval

HFM Version 11.2.

There is a requirement to seperate HFM journal tasks by users. Ideally a user that creates a journal should also be able to post it but only after it has been approved by a different user. The issue is that if a user has the Post journal security role they can post the journal at any time with any workflow status.

A possible solution is to create a security group for those that create journals and a seperate group for journal approvers and have them post the journals. If posting needs to be seperated then a new user could be created that only has the journal post role.
