Dear All,

We are using EBS 12.2.12. Database: 19 Release Update 20. OS: OL7.

I would like to share my experience with the EBS 12.2 Online Patching Cycle.

After upgrading from EBS version 12.1.3 to 12.2.11 and start using the Online Patching Cycle through adop, we encountered a recurring problem during the cutover phase. Specifically, the process would hang inexplicably. To resolve this issue, we adopted the practice of stopping both the appsTier and dbTier before restarting the cutover phase. This workaround enabled us to successfully complete the patching process.

Last week, as part of our routine E-Business Suite health check procedure, we applied the patches listed in the Oracle E-Business Suite Critical Patch Update Checker (ECPUC). We conduct this check weekly to ensure the security and stability of our system. The patches applied are as follows:
