Email Alert required for work request creation

Dear @SSrini @Gilad K ,

We are implementing EAM for our Client

Activity : Work request creation

Step one : work request approves has been set up

step 2 : Create work request -approval notification sent to work request approver

In parallel customer wants an email alert to be sent to approver along with Approval notification

Firstly Whether we can send email alert if yes whether we need to consider that as standard or customisation

Please advice also where we can find the standard alerts available for EAM module it self
