What's the correct or best practice way to call adrci in a mixed OH environment

We have many VMs with:

• Oracle GI-HAS 12.2 or 19c
• Oracle DB 11g, 12c and 19c

and I'm trying to write a script to call adrci to purge all the "component adrs" but what I've found is you need to call adrci with the oraenv corresponding to the "component adr" you're trying to purge. Currently I simple set the ora env to +ASM's and loop through all the homes listed by "show homes" and doing a "migrate schema" but I get AD-49803.

For each "component home" listed by "show home" some way to determine the ORACLE_BASE & ORACLE_HOME for them...I thought I might see something in the metadata subfolders but it appears to be binary.
