Dynamic Access Control settings

in Acme Packet (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered

Hello,

I run vSBC SCZ9.00GA version, VMware, lab environment.

I configured a very basic dynamic ACL on an access realm (associated with a sip-int 20.20.20.20:5060). I thought that the DACL is applied on source address and port - now there's a client1 (10.10.10.10:5060, he doesnt have to register, he just makes calls) and it behaves fine, he's promoted to trusted. This is expected and correct behavior.

But there's a malicious client (client2) with the same IP and a different port (10:10:10:10:5061) and it sends BYEs only (many per second, but less than max-signal-threshold). How comes it doesnt go 'denied'? Seems client2 ends up in the same queue as client1.

Howdy, Stranger!
