Renaming the repository in OVMM would affect the virtual machines/OVS Servers ?

We have a repository which is being used by two virtual machines having two disks allocated. Would editing the repository and renaming it, affect in any way the OVS or VM which are using it? The mapping is done through the ID from what i saw and not using the name of the repository so I'm expecting the operation to be transparent for the OVS/VMs
