Instance statuses are not updateable

Hi Team,

We got a request to update instance status. Looks like user is updating standard statuses. Can you let us know why it is not allowed to update standard instance status.

Also, I could see custom instance statuses which we have created are also not updateable. Few customer IB statuses are updateable and few or not.

Can you please assist on this.
