Hi,

In a server solaris 11 i have

ps -ef|grep ase

  root 1841  1 0 14:14:53 ?     0:01 /opt/ASE/bin/ase start

  root 2174  1 0 14:14:58 ?     0:00 /opt/ASE/bin/asep -daemon -I 12

  root 1843  1 0 14:14:53 ?     0:00 /opt/ASE/bin/asef -daemon -I 10

  root 1992  1 0 14:14:57 ?     0:00 /opt/ASE/bin/asel -daemon -c /opt/ASE/cnf/syslog_enh_logfile_solaris8 -I 11

  root 2177  1 0 14:14:59 ?     0:00 /opt/ASE/bin/asex -daemon -I 13

  root 9161 2177 0 14:39:40 ?     0:00 /opt/ASE/bin/asex -daemon -I 13


After some time the process asex (2177 9161) dies.


ps -ef will not show them.

in /var/adm/messages
