Oracle Roll out patches

Hi,

We are on EBS Oracle R 12.2.10, we upgraded last April 2022.

Our company would like to get on a schedule with the roll out patches that Oracle releases to avoid security vulnerabilities, so we stay current and application stability.

i am looking for suggestions from you all :

i. What is advisable in terms of frequency ? Quarterly , 6 months or yearly ?

ii. How do we address with any security vulnerability ?

iii. If the frequency is higher can it just be IT testing instead of UAT ?

iv. Anything else that i need to consider/ know
