Is it mandatory update F0911-F0902 after changing date pattern or not?

Hi,

we have been checking for issues relating a change from a calendar 01.01 - 31.12 to 4-4-5; in particular we're discussing if is mandatory to update F0911-F0902 of past years or not.

Is it mandatory to launch batch R099103 Calculate Fiscal Year and Period Number and batch R099102 Repost Account Ledger after changing the calendar?

In addition to compromising the comparison between the previous year and the current year, are there other issues?

Alternatively, can we update only the last two or three years?
