Running Batch Versions

9.2.7.2 I am trying to lock an Address Book number in a line in my Data Selection on a Batch version, but everytime I go out of it and go back in the records are not locked. How can I ensure that the records that I fill out in all of my data selection lines are locked and will not automatically be changed by the system?
