E1 Media Text losing line breaks on UBE output

We are on JDE E1 tools release 9.2.6.3. We have some text with line breaks attached to a work order. E1 report design using GT4801A to retrieve and put it in media text is losing the line breaks and prints as plain text losing the format. For Example, the media text

Step 1 - AAA

Step 2- BBB

Step3 - CCC

Upon retrieving the text in the UBE using GT4801A function, the output on the pdf looks like this...

Step 1 - AAAStep 2- BBBStep3 - CCC

It was working fine in E1 9.1 version.
