Difference between R42210 and R42990

Hello,

Could you please let me know the recommendation when it is best to use R42210 (F41021 Commitments Recovery) or R42990 (Refresh Inventory Commitments)?

I noticed that R42990 doesn't clean the records on F41021WF tables, so if I run R42990 it will fix availability, but if after that someone rolls back the commitment using R42210 the quantities will be wrong again.

Is there any recommendation?
