How does the workflow POSREGV2 (Supplier User Registration Workflow Version 2) invoke ?

Version: Oracle R12.2.10

We are creating supplier users using API FND_USER_PKG.CREATEUSER, so wanted to know if the workflow POSREGV2 (Supplier User Registration Workflow Version 2) will be auto triggered when the user is created or should we manually invoke it after the user is created from backend using API. Kindly suggest. Thank You!!
