Workday calendar (exceptions)

Hi

i am on Oracle EBS 12.2.7 and have a workday calendar with 5 working days (monday to friday) and 2 exceptions (Saturday and Sunday)

i have added a test date (Monday 27th November) as an exception date, so that we dont generate a cycle count on this date (the exception was added prior to creating the cycle count schedule)


however, a count was generated this morning when the generate full cycle count request was run. i was anticipating no output, as i had excluded the date from the workday calendar / schedule


is my understanding correct, in that dates excluded from the workday calendar, will not generate cycle counts if they are excluded prior to the count schedule being generated?
