JDE table indexes and purging

Hi,

we have a database that is 7Tb large with data going back to 2005. We have tables with indexes that are larger than its table. Our tables span different modules (see attached). Can you help answer the following:

  1. Are indexes for any table standard or customized? is there a way to differentiate them?
  2. What happens if we delete indexes? What happens to the table and data?
  3. Is there Oracle documentation about indexes?
