Bar Codes for Form W-2

I am wondering if anyone utilizes special software to print W-2 forms with bar codes? We are using Peoplesoft HCM 9.2. The problem I'm trying to resolve is for a large campus with a couple thousand paper W-2 forms, the machine used to stuff envelopes is doubling up some of the forms into one envelope. They are asking us to print the W-2's to include a sequential bar code which allows the machine to identify any double-stuffed envelopes.

Any expertise someone has on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
