what is the best practice for doing out-of-place grid patching where a standby instance also exists

in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) Question

Is there a recommended sequence for doing the out-of-place patching, both HAS and CRS when we are doing a switch from current to a new grid home and what is the correct sequence of events ... i,e, install new home on both as SW Only, then switch on standby/primary to new home, then the other...
