Lots going to "E" when hard committing to PL.

We are using JDE 9.2.7.2

What happens is that we will create inventory and it goes to a staging location as on hand and available to use.

The issue is when we go to a WO and add the item to the parts list and commit it to the location that it will be used (a line location). It will put the commitment on that line location, but it will put the lot status as "E". Is there a way where it will not do that? We are ok with the location having the commitment and a negative available qty, but when we actually do transfer the material to that location it will put the status to "E" instead of available.
