Is there a solution for the CAMT depreciation calculation?

In Oracle EBS Fixed Assets (12.2.7) our tax users would like to know if Oracle has any solution for the CAMT depreciation calculation?

What is the best way to add a new book for the CAMT calculation?

What is the best practice for loading the new CAMT book? We would like to copy an existing book and the majority of assets to a new CAMT book. The assets that aren't copied over we'd like to upload with some changes to certain fields like Depreciation method and life years/months. Is this something that can be done through an Excel upload?
