AWE successfully approved after CI errors on below scenario

Once final approver approves the transaction, the transaction is Approved.

We are using delivered AWE so wanted to have a check if this is something already existing or reported?

On final Approval event: This Event will trigger email once final approver Click on approve button. 

During this event CI went into error and AWE is successfully approved .

We want to complete AWE successfully and send the notification to the final approver and employee stating that CI is in error and needs your attention.
