Smart View and c:\oracle\smartview\bin\hstbar.xla error message.

We are on version 11.2.13. Yesterday, a number of users suddenly were getting the following error message.

This directory path was added to the formula wherever HFM functions were. To resolve this, the Service Desk people uninstalled and reinstalled Smart View, and took this opportunity to upgrade to 23.100, and that appears to have resolved the issue. I think this was an over kill, but I did not get an opportunity to investigate.

This is not the first time this has suddenly occurred, and my guess is an Office upgrade must have messed with the Smart View add-in. I have read documents about users having different installation paths, but I do not think that applies here.
