Sales Order Line Split Functionality through R42520 Customization

Hi

We have a requirement to hard commit quantity and Split Sales Order Line in different way, explained in below example:

"Original sales order line (1.000) has 100 quantity of a given item. If only 30 quantity is available, Custom function should split the original line and hard-commit the available 30 quantity in the newly created split line (1.001) and keep the remaining 70 quantity open in the original sales order line (1.000)."

We wanted to know the existing functionalities (Master Business Functions, Business Function, NER, etc.) available in JDE to achieve this requirement.
