QuickSQL became unbearable slow in larger models

Oracle APEX 23.2 on Oracle cloud (Same on Apex.oracle.com)

I have a QuickSQL model with about 60 tables.

Every time I press a button to add a field, for example, it takes 20 seconds to respond because it constantly recalculates the new Diagram. So, while it recalculates, I get a browser window with the message: "Unresponsive window - Wait or Cancel" every time I touch a button!

As a result, it is unusable for larger models!

The development team needs to add some kind of switch to turn off the auto-refresh and offer a button to re-generate as it was in the past.
