Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. VAT Journal R00320 Setup: The UDC 00/VJ does not support the tax setup based on a short item number.

In JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2, there is the possibility to generate a VAT Journal through the batch application R00320.

For that to happen, it is required to use the UDC 00/VJ in order to setup the tax rates and the columns in which they should appear on the report.

However, I see no possibility to setup when the tax rate is defined, in P4008, with a short item number.
