HFM: changing submission groups assigned to a sub.phase - how will affect Process Mgmt statuses?

Oracle Products: HFM 11.2.6.x

If we changed submission groups in a submission phase (added some new, removed some group assigned previously to that phase),

what will happen with statuses in Process Control / Process Management for past years in the same Scenario?

If they were "green"/"passed", will they remain as "green"/"passed"?

(or those that were red will stay in red ...)

On the Will they be reset somehow in past years (even if we didn't unpublish and unlock prior years)?
