Is PeopleSoft Payroll for NA providing SC Education and Workforce Development Act changes?

The Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act will improve the effectiveness of South Carolina's workforce development and the state's responsiveness to industry needs by providing detailed real-time workforce information and analysis to decision-makers and the public.

To create the best workforce analysis possible, employers will be required to provide SOC codes for their employees and the hours their employees worked when submitting their quarterly wage reports. This new data will give South Carolina businesses the advantage in hiring and building their workforce as the data is used by stakeholders to support education, training, infrastructure, childcare, transportation, and other factors that promote a robust and thriving workforce.
