system slow

Hi,

This system responds slow from time to time,even an ls waits enough.

Here is message from a monitor tool.

Though the listener is running, the lsnrctl command used to verify the listener status does not respond within the timeout value, due to which it is assumed to be down.

It was found that there is severe performance issues at the database server and this was affecting the response time of the listener.

Oracle uses only 1.5GB RAM.
