Why oracle doesn't Allow multicurrency Payments when Ledger Currency <>Bank Account Currency

Version 12.2.10

Oracle CE is not reconciling the payments as Ledger Currency is USD and Bank Account Currency is EUR. Please help me understand why there is a restriction for Multiple Currency Payments in Above scenario.

Is there a workaround to deal with this kind of payments? I have seen couple of Enhancement bugs related to the same issue but don't know what is being done. it has been a common process now a days to have Bank Account Currency different then Ledger currency.
