ODA 19.20 SQLplus RMAN and DGMGRL

I'm in a 2 ODA environment where I've got DataGuard set up from PROD to STANDBY. I had a large gap created recently and now want to recover standby from prod.

I can connect to PROD and STANDBY on either machine using sys/password@SID in SQLPLUS RMAN and DGMGRL. But when I use RMAN to do a recover standby database from service PROD; or in DGMGRL I try to show configuration on the STANDBY the PROD throws an invalid username/password.
