Consumable Items in BOM vs Phantom Items

Hello Oracle experts

We have some items in BOM that have low valuation cost and sometimes production cannot close the jobs due do that component. For example, sometimes we need 3 drop of glue (and that is a component of our BOM), or a screw. We need that detail in the BOM because it says which glue should be used, or what kind of screw.

So, I would like to know if this scenarios are used in the companies?

Scenario 1 - Change Supply Type of those components to push (since push option allows to close the job without issue of components). In this case, the problem is that the cost is not rollup to the BOM and can be around 50 euros, but if we multiply by many other BOM's is a huge cost difference. At the same time we would have a subinventory to manually track the glue and screws stock - we need to have this visibility
