6300 SBC L2RESOLVER alarms

hi,

We have an 6300 SBC running SCZ8.4.0 Patch 3B that is streaming the follwoing alarms to teh console:

[L2RESOLVER] [MINOR] L2R:ProcessPendRequest: Not pending out of subnet packets. [0:0/0] ip x.x.x.x (IP address obscured)

There is an logfile called log.l2resolver that was being rapidly filled up and rotated but the log file has not been written too for over a week.

Is that why the alarms are coming out on the console ?

What do this alarms mean and how can they be investigated please.

The sip-interface that the IP address refers to appears to be working ok without any issues.
