ORDS Docker image - any Production ready options?

Regarding the official Oracle Container Registry ORDS docker image, a note states that the image is not production ready and should only be used for testing. A couple questions arise from this specific note:

  1. Why is it not Production ready? Are there some workarounds or security issues that make this image not safe?
  2. Are there any options for a Production ready ORDS Docker image or one should build the image himself based on the provided Dockerfile examples?
