Error Cannot use device /dev/sdg4 with duplicates on vgextend oracle_vg /dev/sdg4

oracle Linux

version 7.9

Pls i keep getting this error Cannot use device /dev/sdg4 with duplicates whenever i try to extend a volume group with vgextend oracle_vg /dev/sdg4. I will really appreciate any form of hep i can get as this is a production server and storage is almost running out.
